Atlantic Lottery Corporation offers traditional instant and draw-type lotteries as well as video lottery terminals (VLTs) on behalf of the government. Charitable and nonprofit organizations are allowed to organize ticket lotteries and other games to raise funds.

The Trade Practices and Licensing Division of the Department of Government Services and Lands regulates games such as bingo, break-open tickets and 50/50 draws as well as VLTs at venues throughout the province.
