Ontario Race Wagering
As part of the modernization of the gaming industry in Ontario, the OLG ended the "slots at the track" program, removing the machines from racetrack facilities at Fort Erie, Hiawatha Horse Park and Windsor Raceway in April 2012.
The remaining tracks lost their slot agreements with OLG in March 2013, but OLG indicated that it will continue to offer slots at the tracks on a case-by-case basis at facilities where there is a big enough customer base.
